The Basics

I'm integrating this diet into my life a little at a time, and thus have divided it in to four phases. NOTE: I am not a doctor, nor am I a nutritionist. Before beginning any diet regime, please consult with your physician. The steps I'm taking are adapted from those that I have researched.

Phase One - Breakfast
  • Begin each day with a large glass of water and a cave man accepted breakfast. No cereals, no buiscuits, no breads of any kind. Focus on fruit and protien.
  • Eat the rest of your meals as normally (but try and stay on the healthy side).
  • Don't be afraid of carbs in fruit! Your body needs at least 150 carbs to function properly.
  • Do this for four days.
Phase Two - Lunch
  • Start the day with water and a cave man breakfast.
  • Light veggie snack before lunch if needed.
  • Eat a cave man accepted lunch. No processed meats, no bread, no peanut butter. Focus on veggies, protiens and fats from nuts and things.
  • Do this for five days.
Phase Three - Dinner
  • Start the day with water and a cave man breakfast.
  • Snack when needed.
  • Eat a cave man lunch. Keep drinking water!
  • Pepare a cave man accepted dinner. No potatoes, no corn, only approved veggies and meats.
  • Do this for four days.
Phase Four - The Whole Shabang!
  • Three cave man meals a day.
  • Snacking when needed.
  • Loads of water.
  • Allow one "Cheat" - non caveman - day each week.
  • Do this for four weeks.
After phase four, I plan to assess how I feel, evaluate the liklihood that I'll be able to continue like this, and if I get all green lights - I'm going for it! A lifestyle change that I hope to reep all the benefits from.
